Description
Casa Daniela a well restored farm building transformed into a classic country cottage. The house - in the surroundings of Casole d'Elsa, a medieval village with Etruscan origins - is located on a hill surrounded by a large olive grove and a pretty garden.
A sandy, country track leads to the house and its grounds.
The veranda and entrance to the house is up some stairs. Inside the main rooms all have wooden ceilings and terracotta floor tiles. The furnishings are typical of the 'Tuscan´ style.
The main room is a large living-dining room with a well furnished kitchen. This homely room also has a fireplace, settees and a television set.
A spiral, iron staircase leads up to a shower-room (with washing machine) and to a pretty attic double bedroom, with skylight in the roof. Down the staircase there are a twin bedroom and a lounge furnished with a double sofa bed and armchairs.
For children there are a high chair, a crib available, and for extra safety, a stair gate protects the access to the staircase.
In the garden there are tables, chairs, sun loungers and barbeque, swimming pool and little equipped playground for children .
From the cottage there is a spectacular view of Casole d'Elsa, and the idyllic panorama of the Tuscan countryside. Guests may walk almost anywhere in the surrounding land; this cottage has in fact the double advantage of being completely on its own but within easy distance of Casole d'Elsa and the main cultural and artistic towns.
This tranquil cottage is in an excellent position for exploring the 'Jewels of Tuscany' or simply for relaxing
All in all, Casa Daniela is the ideal place for a peaceful holiday, especially for families with children.
